The NADO Library is moving! |

 Our library is moving!
In January 2012 the NADO Specialist Disability Information Library will be relocating to the Emu Plains community library at the corner of Lawson Street and the Great Western Highway, Emu Plains.
As a result, our outreach library service will be able to expand to visit more groups throughout the community!

Congratualtions Brigitte!
The NSW Carers Awards recognise the valuable support people of all ages give to people with a disability, those with chronic health issues or the elderly.
Minister for Disability and Ageing, Andrew Constance reported “there are 748,000 carers in NSW, and it has been estimated that if their work was quantified it would come to over $10 billion a year. The hard work of carers often goes unnoticed, but this is one way for the community to recognise the incredible sacrifices they make. ”Awards were given for each local government area in NSW.
